Weekly roundup 37: Mushi ado about nothing
Hello old friends!
Last time I wrote to you, I thought we were just days from being able to start selling our long-awaited Mushi cloths to you. To put it shortly, I was wrong 🤷♀️
We promised to share the ups and downs of launching GRASP, and the truth is that the shipping and warehousing delays of the last month have been a sobering lesson! It's not all funny memes and colour-coding web pages; sometimes you have to roll up your sleeves and get down in the trenches.
This was the thought that occurred to me as we literally rolled up our sleeves two weeks ago and unpacked a bunch of stock that had arrived in the UK from our factory, but that our warehouse was not ready to take receipt of yet.
Rather than pay for expensive temporary warehousing for a week, we had it delivered to our flat in Hackney for a week til the warehouse gave us the green light. As we had breakfast, lunch, and dinner sat next to a wall of boxes that week, it was at least consoling to know that when you get your parcel of Mushis, it will have journeyed to you from our home 😍

Make GRASP sell again
This is not a drill: we finally have stock to sell again.
If you're new here, a bit of context: having launched GRASP in October '21, the first product we offered on our shop around Easter time was the Heads Up tummy time mat. We were cautious and so our first batch was fairly small. Due to some TikTok wizardry, we sold out in the space of a couple of weeks.
Since then, we've been waiting with baited breath and twiddling thumbs for the second shipment of mats (coming soon!), and the first batch of our beautiful Mushi cleaning cloths to arrive. And now, finally, it's go time! As in, why are you still reading this, go and buy the Mushi now.
They're amazing for mealtimes as well as nappy changes (though we recommend having separate sets for each), and even post-beach clean ups!
You can use Mushi cloths again and again: here's why
I will not stop gassing up the Mushi cloths for the foreseeable. Have a read here of why these cloths are the perfect first or next step towards making your daily routines a little more eco-friendly, and you can read more about their impact on kids' skin here.
And now for something completely different: another musical legend
Back when I wrote the very first SUDS weekly round up, I remember pressing send on the day Adele released Easy on Me. So after this recent hiatus, today's email to you brings you another gift of iconic music news: Beyonce's new album, Renaissance (in case you haven't already hear it). Iconic? Yes. As good as the Mushi on a child's face? You tell me
